Attorney Profile
A Bit About Me
Before entering law enforcement I spent twelve years in the United States Navy. During that time I worked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, was part of a Flying Squad doing shipboard and aircraft firefighting, was a member of an Aircraft Crash Rescue team, and worked in the Military Police.
Prior to attending law school I served as a police officer for twelve years in two different Colorado agencies and worked for another seven years in a third Colorado agency after graduation.
Over the course of my law enforcement career I worked in Corrections, Traffic, the Motor Unit, as a lead Accident Reconstruction Investigator, lead Firearms and Tactics instructor, and as a Patrol Sergeant.
After graduating law school, I worked for a prominent criminal defense firm on felony and misdemeanor cases and as a prosecutor before opening my own practice. I use my extensive training and real-world experience to safeguard the rights of the accused and protect those wrongly charged.
I know the criminal justice system from the inside out which means I work for my clients from a position of knowledge and strength.
